Our office manager becoming a certified technician
Recently our office manager decided to take the dedication and commitment towards becoming a certified chimney technician. To become a certified technician, one must have an in-depth knowledge of code and regulations, so that our customers can safely burn a fire within their home without burning their homes down. This week, she was able to take a break from her desk and finally make it out into the field with our CSIA certified technicians. She was able to help perform Level II chimney inspections which included an internal inspection with a camera unit along with an external chimney inspection, as you see in the pictures. Working on site along with studying codes and regulations, all part of becoming a certified technician, will help her be as familiar with the field procedures as she is with those in the office.
With her new training, she will also be able to help our customers more adequately with a timely response to questions that are best suited for a CSIA certified technician. By becoming a certified technician, she will be able to confidently answer technical questions about a customer’s chimney inspection and their chimney repairs.
