We’re proud to celebrate an important milestone for our team: our team manager, Sam Berry, has earned his Master Chimney Sweep (MCS) certification through the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA).

This is a significant accomplishment in the chimney and hearth industry. The MCS credential is not something that can be earned quickly — it requires 10 years of experience, along with a number of classes and testing before a candidate is even eligible to test for the certification. In fact, Sam’s achievement places him among a very small group of professionals nationwide: he is the 98th person to earn this credential.

That number speaks for itself. Reaching this level reflects not only technical knowledge, but also long-term dedication to safety, craftsmanship, and professional excellence.

Sam has spent years building the kind of experience and expertise this certification demands. Through steady commitment, continued education, and a focus on doing the job the right way, he has earned one of the highest professional distinctions in the field.

We’re honored to have Sam leading by example. His accomplishment reflects the values we care about most: skill, integrity, and a serious commitment to the safety of the customers we serve.

Coming soon: Meet our father-son team of Master Chimney Sweeps.

Please join us in congratulating Sam Berry on this outstanding achievement. We’re excited to celebrate this well-earned recognition and the knowledge and leadership it brings to our team.

Congratulations!
