About Our Sweeps

We at Full Service Chimney™ have grown from a small “mom & pop” business to a complete chimney and fireplace service company employing 14 team members and counting. Company Owners, Robert and Mary Jo Berry, started their journey into sweeping chimneys in 1987. The desire to take care of folk’s chimneys and provide the best service for local families hasn’t changed with the team we have today.

Each of our CSIA Certified Chimney Sweeps carries the same credentials Robert acquired over thirty years ago. More importantly, beyond the technical expertise, all of our team is dedicated to every customer and their satisfaction. We realize, as Bob and MJ knew all those years ago, that no one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care… and we care about our people, and yours! Full Service Chimney has the most trained professionals of any Chimney Company in Kansas City. All of our Chimney Technicians are Certified and personally trained by the owner, and Master Chimney Sweep, Robert Berry, making our level of commitment to safe chimneys second to none.

Many companies in town clean chimneys, but there’s only one original chimney sweep in Kansas City, and that’s us!

“You deserve the best, and our team insists on this level of commitment for each and every customer.”

Robert Berry – Owner / Master Chimney Sweep

Hearth Maintenance is Vital to Your Home

Let’s be honest home maintenance is usually an inconvenience.  Just when we think we’re on top of things, something happens.  Peeling paint, loose shingles on the roof, tricky doorknob, something comes to our attention every few weeks. For our customers, it’s usually an issue related to a chimney or fireplace.

Household upkeep is a never-ending chore for as long as you own a home. At Full Service Chimney we understand this and insist on not only providing expert craftsmanship in all things chimney, but we make home and hearth repair convenient.

To have a fire in your fireplace shouldn’t be a struggle, and keeping water and animals out of your chimney is necessary to maintain the comfort and value of a home.

Valuable Service at an Affordable Price

Our value to you is chimney and fireplace service that is simple and affordable. When our service people visit your home, they will be pleasant and professional.  If repairs are needed, the scope of the issue must be easy to understand. If you want a certain feature with your fireplace, you deserve options for how to achieve what you want.

At Full Service Chimney, we take quality customer service as seriously as we take fireplace repair and maintenance. This explains why we’ve had so many customers calling us for routine maintenance every year, for the last thirty years.

We serve the entire Kansas City Metro and many surrounding areas. Make sure to check out our Services Page and Locations pages to find out what we can do for you.
